Dr. Sanjay Madhusudan Vaidya (MBBS, MS (General Surgery), M ch (Plastic Surgery), FICS, P. G. Diploma Laser Medicine & Surgery (Russia), is a practicing consultant Plastic and Diabetic foot surgeon from Mumbai and has put in about 38 years of private practice. He is attached to several leading hospitals in Mumbai, S. L. Raheja Hospital, P. D. Hinduja Hospital – Mahim and Khar, and H. N. Reliance Hospital. He has acquired the "Post Graduate Diploma in Laser Medicine" from Russia
He was the Project Manager for national initiative of Diabetic Foot Society of India - “National Wound Care Project” across India. The aim of this project was to train post graduate medical/surgical students and nurses in modern wound care training with comprehensive inputs and hands on training workshops. This project was funded and approved by World Diabetic Foundation.
He was also a member of the group to develop Standard Treatment Guidelines for Diabetic Foot, by the Ministry of Health, Government of India.

There are very few specialized Foot Care and Wound Care Clinics in India. Foot/Ankle problems and non-healing wounds are not considered a very major medical problem.
Currently, wound care is a neglected field in India except in few selected institutes in the country. As the incidence of Diabetes and Diabetic Foot ulcer increases, this lacuna is likely to pose serious challenge for public health system.
Seeing the increasing number of patients with foot related problems Dr. Sanjay felt the need to start a state of the art specialised Foot Clinic dealing exclusively with foot, ankle & wound problems in diabetics, sportsmen, athletes and also general population.
The mission is to provide prompt diagnosis, treatment, management, customised orthotics & footwear and patient education. His ultimate goal is to heal patients as quickly and safely as possible and to prevent further complications & amputations!!
With this mission and goal, Dr. Sanjay Vaidya, started Feet First Clinic - Advanced Foot Care and Wound Management Centres with state of the art treatments, modalities and technologies to cater to foot problems, complex and hard to heal wounds.
Under his leadership Feet First Clinic received Guinness World Record Award for participating in foot sensation testing pan India conducted by Diabetic Foot Society of India.
Dr. Poonam Tuteja, has undergone a certification course in “Diabetology” and “The Physician Wound Certification Course”. She has undergone a special foot care training at Institute National de podologue, Paris in France. Her focus is on evaluation, management, education and counselling of diabetic patients for prevention of foot related problems. Dr. Poonam is available at the Borivali clinic once a week on Monday 3pm to 7pm.
Dr Eiti is a dedicated physician whose passion for diabetic foot care was ignited during her tenure at S.L. Raheja Hospital. Since then, Dr. Bhadauriya has honed her expertise in advanced wound-care modalities (including modern dressings and laser techniques) and places equal emphasis on patient education. Combining her knowledge of diabetic foot with modern wound-care strategies, Dr. Bhadauriya specializes in comprehensive evaluation, personalized treatment plans, and patient education.
Shamilee is a professional Orthotist and Prosthetist with a special focus on rehabilitation. She has completed her bachelor’s degree from All India Institute Of Physical Medicine And Rehabilitation (AIIMPMR) Mumbai. She expertises in evaluation of lower limb problems mainly gait-posture assessment/ biomechanics and helps patients for correction/ prevention of their foot problems by making customized orthotics and suggesting various foot care solutions and exercises.
Her area of interest lies in treating ‘Hard to Heal’ wounds especially in diabetic patients by giving proper guidance and using non-surgical off-loading methods with respect to footwear modifications, customised orthotics support, insole corrections etc. thus contributing in limb salvage.
Her vision is to provide patient centred care to improve their quality of life through education, research and community outreach program.
Sharmilee is a Member of Diabetic Foot Society of India (DFSI) Executive Committee.
Medha has post graduate degree in Life Sciences. She has also undergone a certification course in patient counselling. She has vast experience in Clinical Research, as she was International Clinical Co-ordinator in Procter and Gamble. She expertises in development of standard operating systems, patient records, data management systems and implementation of newer technologies.
Medha is responsible for conducting in-clinic clinical trials, documentation and representation of clinical data. She is also responsible for ensuring a positive experience for patients, addressing patient concerns, communication between patients and medical staff, and promote understanding of procedures. Her ability to understand problems and take immediate corrective actions helps in smooth running of the clinic.
Shobhana is a skilled wound care nurse, with more than 25 years of experience in wound care methodologies and specialised dressing techniques. Due to her experience in the field of wound management, she has in-depth knowledge of delivering quality and timely services. Her prominent dedication, empathy towards patients and excellent dressing techniques ensures the proper in-clinic wound care management and treatment and also in-home wound dressings.
Harshada is a wound care nurse with more than 15 years of experience. Her key skills lie in complete foot assessment and evaluation such as Neuropathy and vasculopathy, which play a key role in identifying and preventing high risk diabetic foot. Her good communication skills aid in patient education, in-clinic and in-home wound care management.
Krupa is a skilled wound care nurse, with more than 10 years of experience in using different wound care management modalities like, Ozone, Recosma Laser, Low Level Laser, Anodyne Therapy etc. Her expertise lies in Medical Pedicare i.e. removal of hard corns and callosities, and fine trimming of brittle, trophic and in-grown toenails. She has good experience in wound care techniques enabling proper in-clinic and in-home wound dressings.
Senior Manager Administration who handles backend operations efficiently.
Is Patient Welfare Manager who schedules and manages patient appointments. Her excellent communication skills and efficient patient interaction skills allows smooth running of the clinic and aids in creating comfortable experience for visiting patients.
